Our orthodontic team choose to use Invisalign over other straightening options due to its suitability for adults and teenagers, it’s discretion and the fact that treatment only takes between six to 18 months.

WHAT IS INVISALIGN?

Invisalign is a custom-made straightening solution for patients of all ages which gently and subtly moves teeth into place.

If you are experiencing orthodontic issues due to misaligned teeth or overcrowding, you may benefit from this unique straightening system.

Clear aligners are custom made for your teeth and can be worn without detection. Similar to a transparent mouth guard, the aligner helps to guide the teeth into place. You will need to visit Horton Dental Practice every two weeks for new aligners to be made for your teeth so we can ensure correct positioning.

The aligners must be worn for 22 hours per day to achieve optimum results.

 TREATMENT

When you visit the team we will first assess whether Invisalign is a suitable solution for you.

We will take impressions of your teeth and use sophisticated 3D imagery to create your custom-made aligners.

Throughout the treatment Horton Dental’s practitioner will assess the movement and positioning of your teeth. Your fortnightly fitting for new aligners will help ensure you are receiving the benefits of this straightening system.

Once you have completed the process, we will provide you with retainer to maintain your newly straightened smile.
